"A few years ago, I was intrigued by the title The
Seven Next Words of Christ, one of the many
books my husband brought on vacation to read. I
quickly devoured it! I loved the book – but even
more importantly, I loved the author. I discovered
Shane Stanford and I share a passion for people,
and over the years, he has become a trusted friend and
brother."

Saddleback Church

Shane Stanford’s book is a call to action for Christians to work

Shane and Abingdon Press have agreed to and will sign a two
book contract later this week. The contract provides a significant
commitment on Abingdon's part for marketing and development
of a "Shane Stanford" brand of resources and materials that
proclaim the Good News of Christ and offer hope to those in need.
The first book is a devotional guide co-authored by Shane and
Deanna Favre entitled, "The CURE for the Chronic Life". It is
scheduled for release in late 2010.
The second book is penned as Shane's "ministryscape" and is
entitled, "Making Life Matter". It is scheduled for release in
2011.
Shane is very happy to deepen his relationship with his United
Methodist family and, in particular, Abingdon Press.
