Shane Stanford is a teacher, speaker and author committed to connecting people in significant relationships with
Christ and each other.  Shane is committed to helping people make life matter.

Shane serves as Teacher and Chief Vision Architect for
The Table (www.thetablelife.org), an Acts 2 Worship
Community.  

Shane is Ministry Leader/Host for
The United Methodist Hour, a television program airing in over 30,000,000
homes weekly on FamilyNet.

And, in his spare time… Shane is a life coach and self-development consultant, assisting individuals,
organizations and congregations to reach their full Acts 2 potential.  With his wife, Dr. Pokey Stanford, Shane is
the co-author of the
A2 Indicators assessment program, recently used by over 800 churches.

A dynamic, effective motivational speaker, Shane travels extensively sharing his journey as an HIV+
Hemophiliac and Christian minister.  Shane recently spoke, at the invitation of Rick and Kay Warren, at the
Global AIDS Summit for Saddleback Community Church in California.

Shane is an ordained elder in The United Methodist Church.

Shane currently serves on the steering committee of the
United Methodist Global AIDS Fund.

Shane is married to Dr. Pokey Stanford, an Associate Professor of Education at the University of Southern
Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. They are the parents of three daughters, Sarai Grace (11), Juli Anna (8) and
Emma Leigh (4).
